I was so excited, My work had just started, I had ideas, passion and innovation I knew I was in the right vocation But when I tried to be proactive, others around me became reactive I was blamed, I was shamed, my excitement was maimed How could it be that my passion for work was now constrained I feel so alone, I needed to find a No Blame Zone No Blame Zone, I need a No Blame Zone My heart is turning to stone, I need a No Blame Zone I don’t try new things anymore, what for? it’s safer to wait to be told what to do, why should I do more? The risk is too high, My emotions are protected if I only comply I was blamed, I was shamed, my excitement was maimed How could it be that my passion for work was now constrained I feel so alone, I needed to find a No Blame Zone No Blame Zone, I need a No Blame Zone My heart is turning to stone, I need a No Blame Zone They don’t have a clue How much more I could really do If I was just given a chance Instead of walking around in a trance I would excel, I would achieve, I would once again believe… That my full potential I could apply And the value I bring would multiply.
