Song of Hiroshi Harashima

[verse 1] Hi! I am Hiroshi Harashima. An author and illustrator. I have wrote many books on learning anatomical terms from etymology. [verse 2] Many anatomical terms are derived from Greek and Latin, but most Japanese are not familiar with them. So, students feel painful to memorize them. Then I explain the roots of anatomical terms from their etymology in enjoyable ways. The series has now sold more than 600,000 copies. [verse 3] As another hobby, I collect many postcards over 100 years ago. And and old maps of Edo period. I have written books on history of cities of Japan. Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama, Hiroshima, Kobe, and so on. [verse 4] I visited the locations of antique postcards all over Japan, takes photos from the same point, and compares them with old time postcards. I wrote these comparisons in these books. As a result, I have appeared three times on NHK's Bratamori TV program with Tamori.
