Suffocating Fears

In the shadows of my mind I'm confined, Trapped in a realm where darkness intertwines, Drowning in sorrow, consumed by despair, Yearning to break free from this endless nightmare. Visions of shattered dreams haunt me, Echoes of regrets torment me, Lost in a maze of my own creation, Suffocating in this sea of damnation. My thoughts like knives cutting deep, My heart aching, unable to sleep, Falling into an abyss of pain, Feeling like I'm going insane. I scream out but no one hears, My cries drowned by my own fears, Tangled in chains of my own making, Bleeding, breaking, suffocating. I long to soar like a bird in flight, To break free from this eternal night, But the shackles of my mind hold me tight, Trapped in a web of endless blight. In the depths of my own despair, I fight a battle beyond compare, But I'll keep fighting, I'll never give in, For in the darkness, a flicker of hope lies within.
