Whispers of the Fallen Keep

In armors bright, the knights they rode Upon the fields, their valor showed But swords they clashed, and blood it flowed And many a life the battle stole For every shield that met its end A cry rang out, a town to fend Through the mists, the horses pounded, Steel on steel, the war horn sounded. Brave hearts fell, their fates were bound, In silent grief, the king was crowned. [Chorus] Oh rise ye up, for glory calls, In battles fierce, for honor falls. The sun did set on blood-stained ground, A heavy hush, no more the sound Of clashing swords or warriors' cries, Just the mourning doves with plaintive sighs.
