The Stalk

[Verse] The echoes of a barking dog bounce, a pebble on these suburban homes. Dawn the color of basil, crickets still somewhat cricketing, yet here I stand— understanding; admiring, atop your porch. [Verse] The moon is dimly gleaming in the sky, evanescently shining, slowly fading to make way for the day-to-be.
