A silent cry broke through the crimson rapture, As shadows whispered tales of sorrow bound. [Verse 2] The air was thick with ash, a choking mire, Ghosts of a forgotten age danced on the breeze. A sun, blood-red, hung low, a dying fire, Its light a curse, its warmth a cruel disease. [Guitar Solo] [Verse 3] He walked amidst the ruins, pale and broken, A wraith, a shade, a specter of the past. His name, a word unspoken, left as token, Of days when joy and peace were meant to last. [Verse 4] The earth beneath his feet, a brittle glass, Cracked and crazed, as if to mirror all. He tread with care, each step a measured pass, Afraid to see the world around him fall. [Guitar Solo] [Verse 5] Above, the stars were veiled in smoke and sorrow, The moon, a sliver, wept in silent streams. It spoke of deeds undone, of vows turned rotten, Of kings dethroned, cast down from lofty height. He turned to face the endless, empty meadow, And vowed to seek, to find, to never rest. [Verse 12 The world, it groaned beneath the weight of ages, Yet still it turned, a wheel of grinding stone. And he, a man of sorrow, walked through pages Of time unbound, but never truly alone.
