It would have saved us the trouble, If fate was to me kind, Now I am just a pile of rubble, And you are now out of my broken mind. Letting go was not an option, So I cut off all the ropes of chance, Love is just a mere auction, There is world without romance. Now you know that this all about you, I can survive in Kansas without you. It is established, I do not have a will, And no, I do not love you still. No, from troubles we did not rest, But yes, silence was for the best, I am glad you found someone else, But I am not too eager to ring bells. I bid you a farewell for next semester, Do not worry, my soul already festered, I went through the darkest times, And I did not have with me my rhymes.
