[Verse 1] Sometimes I think deeply while im at home. Was I always destined to forever be alone? My conscious is flooded with crippling self-hate. But why am I cursed with such a pitiful trait? [Verse 2] Is it because im taught that everyone has it rough? Or is it that lingering thought that ill never be enough? Maybe it plays in the mind of those around. But it drives my actions, and by its echoes im bound. [Verse 3] Why do I care about what others think? These thoughts bring my sanity to the brink. Am I just scared that ill lose all that I have left? Or am I robbing myself of happiness with self-loathing theft? [Verse 4] Yet if I can find these burdening fallacies within me. Are those the first steps in setting myself free? I take one step forward and then 5 steps back. With such troubling odds, whats my plan of attack?
