Paper Dreams

I can't practice what I preach when my dreams are out of reach I can't seem to grasp reality when it slips right through my hands life is like a tragedy in the format of a comedy while the romance between you and me is a thriller in my head movie scenes, pictures flashing recollection of my thoughts expecting something else as they repeat it's funny how my life is flashing before me when i'm not approaching death but instead, but instead I can't practice what i preach when my dreams are out of reach i can't be expected to believe my mind when it deceives my reasoning but all of my life's tragedies have me circling the drain it's funny oh it's funny see i'm laughing it's so funny ha-haha-haha-haha and i'm running from the feeling that everything will be okay I can't practice what I preach when my dreams are out of reach
