Paint it black

Want no spectrum, just monochrome Let's drain the rainbow, make black my throne Red door laughing, mocking loud Got my brush ready, to shut it down Gonna paint it, not a hint of doubt With every stroke, I'm blacking out A canvas blank, a soul in shambles Desiring dark, no burst of flambeaus Only night skies on my panels Even that door, let's paint it shadowed Black boots track, can't step out Heart so stark, it's always blackout Ink my world in shades of raven Leave those rainbows for the craven Black star shining, my own north Set the sails, let the dark come forth Stripping colors, till they fade away Pure and deep, this ebony ballet Dipping deep in the onyx well Let the twilight reign and the light dispel Turn these roses to charcoal blooms In a world that's dyed in the darkest rooms Paint it over, let the red disappear In a universe void, I find my sphere
