Eyes In The Night

there are a thousand eyes that guide the night they hear your cries, and your sighs arising in the fading light they rule and fluorish in the darkest night unseen to the human eyes they watch us fail and triumph from above the dark, dark night before them every wrong laid bare stored in memory to cause shame and suffering but there is a light that exceeds their might bringing life for all so that none should fall if a choice of heart, of mind, of soul is made right a choice we all must one day make living or suffering, eyes that trip or one's that guide, night-like days or day-like night's therefore each day for you I weep for I know you can not sleep because the night has a thousand eyes
