A Charming Life folk Version

In a grassy open field I stand letting the wind have at me it can't hurt what's healed my eyes are open and i finally see i'm barefoot and my shoes are made of mud the earth is wet for its had its thirst met i'm hydrated so says my blood this may be as good as it can get my hair hits my skin violently otherwise my porcelain skin is tranquil everything else is happening silently does it matter if i'm in texas or brazil? my shirt blows up to my face it reveals my scars and my breasts pain and beauty in the same place have i passed all of life's tests? what happened to all the trees? and where are the singing birds? there can't be honey without bees everything feels as empty as my words is all this real or is this is a dream? the clouds are gone but there is no rainbow life is so unfair and mean or am i playing the wrong part in this freakshow? i fall to the ground i make a mud angel with my legs and arms with living there is one thing i've found this life does have its charms.
