At The Gym Endless Last Rep

[Verse] At the gym working out for a body divine, 1 through 12 reps per set moderate weights and rest, hoping hypertrophy kicks in before I'm all tapped out [Verse 2] I don't want bulging muscles or huge biceps, 2 percent body fat nothing like that it's just God gave me a body Holy Spirit chooses to liv in, I keep it healthy so I can liv unabashed that's why I'm at the gym trying to lift this last rep, and a healthy strong body to serve Jesus with [Chorus] I know science says muscles hypertrophy will kick in; and damage fibers will begin fusing which increases muscle size and mass, but I'm at my limit this last rep feels endless I just wanna drop the weights but yet I can't, because that eight pack it's calling my name come on RaHeem push through the pain it's just one more rep nothing insane [Bridge] I understand that godliness and spiritual training in everything and every way is more valuable than physical training, and even though I buffet my flesh like a boxer that prepares his match, I realize that physical training is of some benefit that's why I at the gym struggling to lift this last rep [Verse 3] So many benefits in this workout I'm doing at the gym, it strengthen my bones, better sleep, a better mood, more energy means less fatigue and more move, my get-up-and-go will be more stronger then before I'll be able to serve God with more oomph then the day before the excitement is rising let's lift that last rep
