Crimson Nightfall

In the still of the night, I close my eyes, And into the realm of dreams, I fly. In a city of shadows, where the moon hangs low, I walk the streets where the secrets flow. Through alleys and lanes, I wander alone, In a world where the darkness has grown. But as I turn a corner, to my dismay, I see the streets fill with blood, in disarray. Red rivers flowing, staining the ground, Echoes of chaos, the only sound. Faces of fear, etched in despair, Lost in a nightmare, beyond repair. Yet amidst the horror, a flicker of light, A beacon of hope, burning bright. For in this dream of darkness and dread, I find the strength to rise, to tread. Through the crimson tide, I forge my way, With courage as my guide, I'll find the day. For dreams may haunt, with their fearsome might, But I'll face the darkness, and emerge into the light.
