Midnight Clown

I'm the clown at midnight, So funny, yet so tragic. It's myself I seem to fight. I fail to see the magic. Everybody laughs, I don't see what's funny. It's an overbearing task. My life's so far from sunny. I'm the clown at midnight, The one who's missed the ride. Even the car, with infinite spaces, Was too small for me to fit inside. Everybody chuckles, I can't see the joke. When the laughing starts I buckle. It's too much, I just can't cope. I'm the clown at midnight, The one with piss in his flower. The one who puts the lime in the light. A bitter face, so sour. Everybody's laughing, I'm such a sorry sight. The storms forever passing, Over the clown, who's stuck. At midnight.
