Quiet souls speak

In a forest where sunlight weaves, Through leaves, tranquility achieves, A tree ancient, wise, and old, Whispers stories yet untold. Voice a rhythmic, gentle hum, Slights and whistles, breath become Vines embrace its trunk and limbs, White flowers peek from within, Like a woven blanket spreads, Holding forest threads as threads. Hum grows louder, breath aligns, Ear to tree, its spirit shines, Expanding life, the tree’s soft sigh, Then words emerge, gentle cry. “Welcome, weak I may seem, Stay you must, find your dream, Soon I’ll fade, as others cease, A final song, forest peace.” “Where to flee?” I asked, dismayed, “What becomes of me, now swayed?” “Energy infinite, form may fall, Roots to guard the forest’s call.” “I feed the earth, the sky, the sea, Giving all, they return to me, Energy once pure, now tainted, Poisoned realm, faint spirit painted” Intertwined in energy’s dance, Hummed together, trance by trance, Till he released, my tears cascade, Into the earth, my spirit laid. Moments passed as hours rolled, Dusting off, new tales unfold, Each petal, leaf, with stories old, This universe, a fortune told, What could life on earth bestow? If respect, we’d only show. To hear a bunny’s simple thoughts, Or tales of wonder, joy unsought, Birds’ beauty, a mirthful tune, Under sun or silver moon. Had we listened, hearts all free, To every whisper, every plea, Respect for life, the energy, Would bring a harmony, decree. Wonder here, wonder near, Let’s truly open, truly hear, In silence, hum, a cosmic cheer, Nature’s voice, forever dear.
