48. Eagle's Ascent

My small shoulders once bore a heavy fear, Those young days when I couldn’t spread my wings, The sky seemed too far and too high, But my mother knew the hidden strength within me. Like an eagle, I fly towards the sky, I will soar up high, Breaking through fear and frustration, To find the freedom I truly sought. My mother carried me up, higher and higher, To the edge of a cliff where the end was unseen, That’s when she let me go, In fear, I discovered the power of my wings. At first, I failed, but soon I realized, That I could make this sky my own, Stronger, higher, I flap my wings, Towards the end of the world, I will advance.
