Dead zero

The feeling of being dead inside is like a constant weight on your chest, a numbness that consumes every ounce of your being. It's the absence of joy, of passion, of purpose. You have faced your demons and come out the other side. And though the feeling may never fully disappear, you know that you will always have the strength to overcome it. You are not dead inside – you are very much alive.
