Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy is a video game developed and published by Midway Games. It was released in North America on June 14 2004 and released in Europe on October 1 2004. Plot The game starts with psi agent Nick Scryer secured to a medical chair, being pumped with what appears to be morphine. An unnamed doctor and unnamed military general are present, discussing Scryer's past and his affiliation with Mindgate, a secret organization whose operatives experiment with psi-powers on the field. Scryer is weak and disoriented, the doctor's and general's voices distorted due to such. Suddenly, Scryer has his mind wiped and before he loses his memory completely, he experiences flashes of past missions and his experience with using his powers. Scryer is then seen holding an assault rifle, having no knowledge of his past with Mindgate whatsoever.
