Once There Was a Rabbit

Verse 1 Once there was a rabbit, so quick on his feet, He thought he was the fastest, no one could compete. Every day he laughed, at those who ran slow, Even at the turtle, who moved like a shadow. Chorus Oh, the rabbit, he laughed, he jeered at them all, But the turtle, so patient, answered the call. "One day, dear rabbit, someone will win, You'll see that the race is not just a sprint."
