The fight

I am no warrior in the fray, no knight with armour gleaming, But a solitary soul seeking light, through clouds of doubt, streaming. Where once I sought to conquer peaks, in youthful zest and pride, I now seek solace in the valleys, where quiet waters glide. The tempest of reality has raged through my ideal's sash, Yet still, I feel a flutter, beneath the ash—a flame, a dash Of hope that stirs, a quiet force, a whispered inner call, It tells me though my dreams may falter, I won't lose them all. I've learned to weave my peace through threads of broken dreams, To see the silver lining stitched within the darkest seams. In the stillness, I've discovered strength, a gentle, steadfast might, Guided by the stars above, the navigators of my night. Others too have joined my path, their presence soft as feather, Our stories and our sorrows, in the quilt of shared endeavour, Finding peace not in solitude, but in our bonds, forever.
