Lyrics
In the dreamscape's dance, I am the Dreamer, Chaotic yet graceful, embracing the
streams. Through vivid fragments, I'll weave a fair seamer, A song to shift
worlds with uncanny beams.
I go to the beach house, greeted by fae, A sinewy sprite with visage so bright.
She shows me the fruit bushes, blooming and gay, Raspberries, plums, by the
shore's auroral light.
"Those hickeys connect you to Moses," she croons, "Good for your blood, let
bacteria wear new." In the yard, trees bear fruits of deep purple tunes,
Plum-peach-pawpaw hybrids, juicy and true.
The people on stone walls refuse the strange fare, As a giant transforms to a
sky-blue insect. Beetle and crab-like, a carapace to wear, Protective and hardy,
none can object.
The bus in the lot, all but two depart, A man in brown coat with golden eyes
cold. An energy vampire, I sense in my heart, But boldly I tell him, "Your
powers won't hold."
He speaks of a ring, a dragon gold token, Possessed by a demon, causing his
plight. "Cast it away," I advise, the spell broken, Unveiling the truth in the
warm evening light.
in the warm evening light.
The aliens summon us to the plasma wall, A dimensional gateway, fiery and
bright. The parking lot beckons with a spacious call, One side, a void
precipice, endless in height.
Winged horses soar in the azure above, As she takes my arm, smiling, a pleasant
mask. "You won't leave without me, my darling dove," Her words send a shiver, a
haunting task.
The mother imparts wisdom, scents of salt, For salt is sacred, a treasure to
heed. They ask her age, and without default, "One-forty-nine," she says, though
fifty-nine they read.
The Rubber Stamp Man arrives, two-dimensional, The mother tries tearing him, a
strange ritual. The father questions her weird temperamental, As the moon's
reflection shines, a red horse visual.
We drink black and white, potent libations, Then a mighty hand plunges us into
the deep. The Holy Pool of Thessaly, ablutions, From dreamworld to waking, the
sea fog we reap.
Through rings of space-time, we cross the thick veil, Back to the sea's edge,
where our journey began. A song of dreams spun, a fantastical tale, Shifting the
world with its eldritch span.
[Fade Out]
