Little Pookie, grey and small, In the corner, purrs so tall. In her soft and fluffy coat, Dreams of adventures, she does dote. By day she's lazy, by night she's stealth, Catching mice is her wealth. In the moon's silver glow, She moves unseen, high and low. Her fur so soft, light and fine, Like morning mist, quietly divine. Pookie purrs, her eyes do close, In dreams, the mouse no longer goes. Though Pookie's small, her heart is vast, With dreams so big, they're unsurpassed. In her grey world of shadow play, She finds joy and mystery every day.
