Once upon a time, there was a girl named Nuwa , the youngest daughter of YanDi. One day, she went boating on the Eastern Sea, a strong wind rose and her boat capsized. She fell into the water and died. Her spirit turned into a beautiful bird with sad sound "Jingwei, Jingwei". So people called the bird Jingwei. Jingwei lived on a mountain near the sea. She hated the sea so much and decided to fill it up. Every day, she took some small stone or twig from the mountain and dropped it into the sea. One day, the God of the Sea said, "Poor little bird, stop doing the stupid thing! You'l never fill me up." Jingwei replied, "No! I will keep doing it even thousands of years!
