Lyrics
[Instrumental solo]
[Verse 3]
To the beloved of the daughter of the mountain, whose mind is delighted by the joy arising from the whole world,
With the merciful glance that destroys the great dangers,
May my mind find its joy in the unclad Lord.
[Instrumental solo]
In the matted hair with the brilliant serpent with a fiery gem on its hood,
With the faces of the directions smeared with the liquid of the Kadamba flowers.
With the skin of the intoxicated elephant moving beautifully as a shawl,
May my mind hold the wondrous delight in the Lord who supports the beings.
[Instrumental solo]
[Verse 4]
With feet dusted by the pollen from the flowers fallen from the heads of a thousand-eyed deities,
Bound by the king of serpents as a garland in His matted hair,
May the Lord, adorned with the moon, bring prosperity forever.
[Instrumental solo]
With the sparks of the fire blazing on His forehead,
Devouring the God of Love, bowing to the leader of the divine ones,
Adorned by the crescent moon,
May the matted hair of the great Lord with the skull bring us fortune.
[Instrumental solo]
[Instrumental solo]
[Bridge]
On the surface purified by the stream of water flowing from the forest of matted hair,
Having a long, hanging, lofty serpent garland around His neck.
With the sound of the Damaru drum echoing 'Dama Dama Dama',
He performs the fierce Tandava dance. May Lord Shiva grant us auspiciousness.
[Instrumental solo]
In the matted hair that is crowded with the lustrous waves of the divine Ganga,
Which adorns His head beautifully with moving curls,
With the fire blazing on His forehead,
May my mind be delighted in the Lord who wears the moon on His forehead.
