We understand this, but sadness is still sadness. Yesterday everything seemed fine, and the suddenness of the departure, along with the lack of mental preparation, makes it even more painful. If the person had lived what could be considered a long life, would the degree of sadness be different? Regardless, sadness is sadness. At times like this, all we can do is cry.
