Sometimes I really don't know how to feel It's like silence has lost its attractive appeal The voices so loud tend to cloud out my thoughts As if my feelings were like trash being left out to rot All that's left of me are my eyes and my heart If you looked deep inside You wouldn't know where to start You may think I'm a brick wall on most of my days But throw me some water and I'll begin to sink like clay My barriers are a lie hidden behind what's true Even if it hit you, you would never have a clue I'm not held down by the status quo That shape the lies we know today I'm free to roam and fly above And not be stuck at bay Silence says a lot of things That the average person can't hear Of course people don't try to explore Because what they can't understand, they fear The deepest part about me Is that my words won't tell a lie I may not have the strongest voice But believe me I can fly
