The Big Bad Wolf

Verse 1: He’s tall, strong, and brave, With eyes that light up when he sees me, His smile, a beacon in the night, He protects me, he’s my great love. But there’s something I haven’t told you, His name sounds like danger’s cue, “The Big Bad Wolf,” they call him so, But in truth, it’s just a name, you know. Chorus: He says to me, "Run away, there’s a spider on the wall!" Then he adds, "Run away! This is the end, I know!" I take it and put it out in the garden, "Don’t worry, my sweet cowardly wolf." He smiles nervously and says, "But you’re so brave, my love!" "And you’re the great hero of my heart," I reply. Laughing, he kisses my forehead, "Don’t worry, my sweet cowardly wolf." Verse 2: Walking in the woods one afternoon, We saw a frog, enormous and green, He shouted, "Run away, it’s going to jump at us!" I grabbed it and threw it far away with a loud "croak." And he, behind me, jumping with fear, I couldn’t stop laughing, what a scene! He hid behind a tiny tree, "Don’t worry, my sweet wolf, you see, I’m the one in charge here." Chorus: He exclaimed, "Run away, a mouse crossed the path!" Then whispered, "Run away, it’s a beast, a divine monster!" I caught it and let it run away, "Don’t worry, my sweet cowardly wolf." He looked at me admiringly and said, "You always save the day, my love." "And you, my knight with a fear of terror," I teased. We laughed until the sun went down, "Don’t worry, my sweet cowardly wolf." Verse 3: In the kitchen, making dinner, A shadow passed by and he started to tremble, He shouted, "Run away, it’s a ghost!" with great fear, But it was just the broom, what a mistake! I moved it a bit, as if it were flying, And he hid under the table, looking so funny, I put it away and went back to my chore, "Don’t worry, my sweet wolf, there’s nothing worse than your fear." Chorus: He said to me, worried, "Run away, I heard a strange noise outside!" Then added, scared, "Run away, it’s a monster, it’s surely waiting for us!" I opened the door, it was just the wind, "Don’t worry, my sweet cowardly wolf." He looked at me with love and said, "You’re my strength, my muse, my everything." "And you, my treasure, don’t fear anything, not even mud," I replied. And as the wind rocked us gently in the night, "Don’t worry, my sweet cowardly wolf."
