Chasing A Dream

There's a dog named Moose, with a heart of gold, On the shores of Lake Huron, where stories are told. He’s got a coat like sunshine, his spirit free, And when he sees the lake, oh, he runs with glee. Down by the water, where the ripples gleam, Moose dives in like he’s chasing a dream. His paws in rhythm, his tail always high, In the cool blue current, he’s the happiest guy. Moose loves the water, more than the land, With a splash and a wag, he’s forever grand. In the heart of the lake, or by its sandy shore, Moose and the water, always wanting more. Early morning mist, and the sun peeks through, Moose is ready to swim, in that sparkling dew. He greets the day with a joyful bark, In the embrace of the river, he leaves his mark. Friends gather 'round, to watch the show, As Moose in the waves, puts on a glow. He leaps and he frolics, carefree and wild, No one can resist that golden retriever smile. In the still of the night, when the moonlight shines, Moose dreams of the lake, where the water’s fine. His heart beats steady, in sync with the waves, Moose and the water, forever in a dream.
