9. The Mountain Melody2

In the towering mountains, where the air is clear, Falcons glide silently, with nothing to fear. Marmots whistle sharply, in the afternoon sun, In the mountain melody, where life’s begun. Snow leopards prowl, in the highest snow, Ibex climb gracefully, where the winds blow. Owls hoot softly, in the twilight’s glow, In the mountain melody, the wonders grow. The mountains call, in a voice so deep, Through the canyons wide, and the valleys steep. From the pine-clad hills, to the glacier’s edge, The mountain melody, a solemn pledge. Rivers carve paths, through the ancient stone, Eagles build nests, where the wind has blown. Bighorn sheep stand, on the precipice high, In the mountain melody, reaching the sky. Coyotes yip and yowl, under the stars, Lynx move stealthily, near and far. The mountains echo, with a timeless song, In the mountain melody, we belong. The mountains sing, with a voice so clear, In every season, throughout the year. In the falling snow, and the budding spring, The mountain melody, forever sings.
