I glance at my room and it's a big mess, But I'd rather be outside, playing chess or dress. No interest in cleaning, dusting, or stress, Dreaming of playgrounds, where I can express. Inside is boring, chores pile up like a hill, I want to escape, find friends, and chill. No thrill in tidying, I need a fun fill, Will to play tag, slide, or spin until I spill. Look at the yard, it's just work and no play, I say let's leave it, go out, make hay. Today's not for chores, but for games to display, Obey my heart's wish, at the park where I'll stay. So no to brooms, mops, or cleaning the fray, I pray for sunshine, not tasks to outweigh. Day's made for fun, not for gray disarray, Hey, let's go run, make the most of this day!
