In shadows deep, where whispers creep, A beast abides, in secrets steep. Beyond the walls, where mortals roam, I dwell alone, in twilight's home. With eyes aglow, in eerie hue, I seek a friend, as mortals do. My form obscured, by darkness' shroud, Yet within beats a heart, unbowed. I yearn for kin, though strange it seems, In realms of dreams, and moonlight beams. But mortal fear, a stubborn chain, Keeps me bound in dark refrain. Yet still I hope, with eerie grace, For one brave soul, to fill this space. To pierce the veil, of dread and woe, And see the friend, that lies below.
