"Living Water's Call"

(Verse 1) At Jacob's well beneath the noonday's heat, A woman came to draw her daily need, He sat beside the well, in His humility, A Jew to a Samaritan, an unlikely symmetry, (Chorus) He said, "Living water will I give, Quench the thirst deep inside you will live, No longer bound by chains of old, In the Spirit, in truth, we behold." (Verse 2) "You have five husbands, and your life's not your own," She heard, felt convicted, could not hide alone, And yet, in His eyes, she found no scorn, Just a love that could replenish, make her forever born. (Chorus) "Living water," He said, "come drink of Me," This gift for all who long to be free, No longer in the world be tossed and turned, In Christ's embrace, our spirits are returned. (Bridge) A Savior's truth the woman then perceived, His love, so deep, it made her heart believed, She left her jar, her heart was filled with song, To tell her village what she'd met, her life transformed. (Chorus) "Living water," she cried, her feet now dancing, A prophecy fulfilled, the truth now prancing, Messiah, He's come, the well of salvation, In the Spirit and Truth, a new revelation. (Outro) So take His hand, dear friend, and drink anew, The living water's call, pure and true, No longer bound by life’s heavy chain, In the Living God, our hope will remain.
