In a time of bitter exile’s pain,
Moshiach waits for our return,
Through teshuva, the dawn will break.

The Rambam's words are clear and true,
Yisroel’s redemption is due,
But only through teshuva's gate,
Will we see the Moshiach's fate.

Like a dog who bites the stone,
Forgetting who has thrown,
So too, in these troubled times,
We miss the Hand, the Divine signs.

The Mishnah speaks of faces like dogs,
A generation lost in fog,
But the stick that strikes is not the foe,
It’s the message we need to know.

From the north, a threat will rise,
But it’s meant to open our eyes,

Redemption's sweet and final ring,
