My Son

My favorite son has gone and left, And he is wearing his Sunday best, I think he is really really scared because he bared his lily white chest to his friend She is the neighbor and she never wears shoes She flings her legs up and around He don't know what to do She has bewitched my little boy He's my rock of pride and joy He has been gone too long now I don't know why he run away Maybe it was that time he spent Frolicking in the hay But his soup is cold And before I get old I would like to see him again someday.
