The Devil's Hand

No peace in sleep, no rest for the wicked, For his heart and the devil were forever thicketed. [Chorus] And the devil's hand, it held on tight, Through the lonely days and the endless nights. He lived a legend, but at what cost? For all he gained, his soul was lost. The Devil stood, by the bedside, so near, Whispering the end, the wanderer did fear, "You thought you won, in your foolish pride, But I’m the last one by your side." With a final chuckle, as the life did seep, The wanderer's soul, the Devil did reap. In the darkness, his fate was unsealed, The folly of their deal, eternally revealed.
