So Far Long

When I wake up, I can only think about what has been, what has passed, and I can't seem to overcome so much time, so many losses, so many struggles, and in the end, what did it all amount to? I still see you go, I still see you leave, I still see my dreams vanish. No matter how hard I try, I can't reach them. Even saying that everything will be okay, I try to bury it all deep down, hoping that one day everything will get better and hoping that someone can save me from myself. I try to be better, I try to be strong, and improve every day, and yet, despite all my efforts, I see those who follow the wrong path achieving everything I dreamed of. So, I ask myself, in the end, was it worth it?
