Walkin' down the righteous way Finding light in every day Blessed is the one who stays In the path of wisdom's rays Not in scoffer’s seat they sit Nor with mockers stand a bit In the law they do delight Meditate both day and night Like a tree by river's flow Roots go deep where waters go Leaves are green and fruit will show Prosper where the blessings grow Not so for the wicked kind Blown away by every wind Chaff that scatters in the storm Never grounded never warm Righteous paths the Lord will guard Wicked ways will drift apart Which way will you choose my friend Where you start is where you’ll end Like a tree by river's flow Roots go deep where waters go Leaves are green and fruit will show Prosper where the blessings grow
