Started out the game, man, thought I knew the drill (had it down) Hit that block, gold coin, it’s a thrill (bling sound) Then it shifted, this world’s got me lifted (so high) One bad 'shroom now the whole realm's twisted (all wrong) Colors splashin', my whole head spinnin' (round we go) Mario in the mix, but am I really winnin'? (who knows) Had the map, knew the traps, now I'm feelin' kinda trapped (where to?) In the kingdom (yeah, kingdom) Ate a shroom but it's the wrong one (what?) Now the colors, they so vivid (so vivid) Life's a game, on a new mission (new quest) Jumpin' higher, but the sky's strange (so high) The goombas got a wicked new face (watch out) My mind's racin' as I crush blocks (break 'em) Mushroom world's turned to Pandora's box (unleashed) Got the flower (flame on), seein' trails of fire (burn, burn) Now they call me tripper, the hallucinatin' squire (trippin') In this castle (this fortress) Where the bricks glow and the stars spin (spin around) I'm dodgin' turtles, thinking they can talk (what's up) And the coins I grab just seem to float on (up, up) Questing deeper, down the pipes I slide (let's go) Found myself in a world upside inside (flipped out) Beats from the depths, thumping like a bass track (boom, bap) The princess might be here, or is it just a trap? (where's she at?) Hit the block, it's a jackpot (bling, bling) Coins in the air, yeah they don't stop (never) But my head's spinning like a starman's flight (woozy) Mario's gone rogue in the warp pipe light (lost) Vines grow quick and the flowers spit flames (it's hot) Trying to find reality within the game (where it at?) Bouncing on the beats like a shell on the move (kick, push) This kingdom's got a trippy, twisted groove (distorted tunes) Level up (level up), new heights, but the fall feels far (gravity's gone) Breaking bricks with my head, but it don't leave scars (it's a trick) Gotta extra life (extra), yeah I cheat death (up-up) Glitch in the matrix, I take a deep breath (inhale) Coins fall like rain but the world's inverted (cha-ching) Flippin' through dimensions, hands-on, I'm inserted (pulled in) See the bullet bills?
