Lily

In a quaint little village nestled between rolling hills and lush meadows There lived a little lamb named Lily. Lily was the most curious lamb in the flock Her eyes always wide with wonder and her heart bursting with the joy of new adventures. Every day She would frolic in the fields Chasing butterflies and nibbling on the sweetest patches of clover. But when night fell and the moon cast a silvery glow over the landscape Lily had one small problem—she couldn't sleep No matter how tired she felt Her mind would race with the day's excitement. She would lay in the soft hay Staring at the twinkling stars through the barn's open window Her tiny hooves twitching restlessly. Her mother A wise old sheep named Bella Would gently nuzzle her and sing soothing lullabies But to no avail One particularly sleepless night Lily decided she would find the secret to a good night's sleep. She tiptoed out of the barn Careful not to wake the other animals And ventured into the dewy night. The air was cool and crisp Carrying the soft murmur of the stream nearby. Determined Lily set off toward the forest Where she had heard the wise old Owl resided After a short walk She found herself at the edge of the forest Where the trees whispered secrets to each other. Summoning all her courage Lily called out "Owl O wise Owl Can you help me find sleep?" From above A gentle hoot echoed And the Owl swooped down to perch on a low branch. His eyes Large and knowing Gazed at Lily with kindness. "Little Lamb " he began "the secret to sleep is not found in the forest or the fields. It is found within your own heart."
