We've seen friends exchanging memes, couples trading love songs and streamers co-creating songs with stadium-sized audiences. Some creators make songs for others, while others play, explore and make songs for themselves. We are very excited to announce that throughout the remainder of 2024, we will be paying a total of 1 million dollars to these creators who are bringing us closer to music, and each other, with Suno. We are kicking things off with the Summer of Suno, a celebration of the songs that move us as a community — whether they make us bob our heads, tap our feet, laugh, cry or simply say "wow." SoS Vol. 1 | June 2024 The Summer of Suno (SoS), Vol. 1 starts tomorrow on Saturday, June 1st. We are paying out the first 100,000 dollars of the total 1 million dollar prize pool to the creators of the top 500 songs made with Suno during the month of June. All public songs will be automatically enrolled in SoS Vol. 1, and song rank will be determined by popularity as measured by a combination of plays, likes and shares. The top creators will receive the following payouts, with a first-place prize of 10,000 dollars: Song Rank; Payout (USD) 1st: 10,000 dollars 2nd: 7,500 dollars 3rd: 5,000 dollars 4th: 2,500 dollars 5th: 1,000 dollars 6th-50th: 500 dollars 51st-100th: 250 dollars 101st-500th: 100 dollars Share Your Songs We encourage you to share your songs with friends, family and coworkers. The most popular songs are usually shared even more broadly on social media platforms like X, Instagram and TikTok. We want to reach as many creators as possible, so eligibility is limited to one song per creator. You are eligible to participate if your account is in good standing with Suno, you are in compliance with our Terms of Service and you are 18 years old or older. If you are unable to accept payment via PayPal, we will not be able to issue your payout, and it will be returned to the pool for future events. We may be required to issue creators receiving annual payouts of $600 USD or more a 1099-MISC, which will apply immediately to the creators placing 1st through 5th for SoS Vol. 1.
