Cocoon

You blame yourself, for all the hurt you were told you created, and people said it would become faded. The lies, the guilt and the hurt they created, people said I went cold. My view became skewed, and jaded. Our heart has always been broken, i feel numb now its locked up and barricaded but a bit elated. We're afraid to grow apart. Especially when we have such tragically magic conversations, heart to heart. Some people may think our talks, aren't smart, but to us it's our favorite part. Hearts pulled apart, but we mend each other. Wolves licking each others wounds, like butterflies not yet emerging, safe inside cocoons. I have you, you have I. Together we emerge, fluttering through the sky. Our wings will be beautiful, but fragile, like cathedral stained-glass windows. A transition, without haste, yet will be gradual. This cycle we share guaranteed to loop us round and round. Even when we thought all was lost, we thought there would be such a greater cost. With all the love we share, how could we stop and not care? All the pain we endured, all the suffering that occured, we will make it out. I know we aren't kin, but we will be friends until the very end.
