At the final stage of dawn I sit there on my lawn Staring up at the stars Looking off to mars When a sudden light flashes me Not too far from my home A starship made of chrome Landed in the road And as the smoke, it slowed Walked out a figure, searching They walked right up to me And with my heart, I see A girl so stunning I nearly took off running But I stayed, and I swayed, she made me a little nervous- She said she liked the way I stared up At the world she’s from She took my hand and blasted off As we flew up above Her eyes were luscious turquoise And her hair shined a dark brown She smiled at me And I felt such glee Hadn’t felt it since i left my hometown Her freckles soared across her face Like the stars I dreamt about But as I looked to my side And our visions collide My mind, a truth it dug out I realized it was her I saw in my dreams I was silent, in my mind there were screams.. ..Could it be her? The girl with the strawberry-scented lips, And the cute little shirt that dragged down to her hips, And the- Suddenly the ship stopped, and I looked ahead, I saw mars, orange and brown, like soft baked bread, I looked back at her and she blew me a kiss, Sinking into my face like an ocean abyss, I was flustered, nonetheless, caught off guard, Until I awoke, still laying in my front yard.
