I Shall Give Thanks (Psalm 30)

[Verse] Oh, I will extol thee, O Lord, for you have lifted me up You have not let my foes rejoice over me In my distress, I cried unto thee, and you have healed me You have brought up my soul from the grave, kept me alive [Verse 2] Sing unto the Lord, oh ye saints of His, give thanks For His anger endures but a moment, in His favor is life Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning In my prosperity, I said I shall never be moved [Chorus] But Lord, by Your favor, You made my mountain stand strong Though You hid Your face, I was troubled and cried out And what profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? But I know, O Lord, that You will hear me and be my helper [Verse] you have turned for me my mourning into dancing: you have put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; [Verse 2] To the end that my glory may sing praise to you, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to you for ever.
