[male voice] There is a cancer eating at the Imperium. With each decade it advances deeper, leaving drained, dead worlds in its wake. This horror, this abomination, has thought and purpose which functions on an unimaginable, galactic scale and all we can do is try to stop the swarms of bio-engineered monsters it unleashes upon us by instinct. Swarm descends in blinding rage Devouring worlds, their endless crave A hive mind's hunger uncontained A galaxy's fear, their might proclaimed Stripping life from every place A biotic storm, erasing trace In shadows vast, they plot and scheme Silent killers in darkness teem Twisting genes with foul embrace Art of terror, a grotesque face Reality melts under their gaze An endless night, the end of days Leviathans of the stars awake Born of nightmares, all light they take With claws and fangs, they rend and tear A symphony of despair, none to spare [Pre-Chorus] Marching forth, a relentless tide No soul spared where darkness hides [male voice] We have given the horror a name to salve our fears; we call it the Tyranid race, but if it is aware of us at all it must know us only as Prey.
