Luck in Strife

Woke up late, missed my train, Spilled coffee all over my shirt, what a pain. Tripped on the sidewalk, skinned my knee, This Monday's turning out to be the worst for me. Forgot my wallet at home, couldn't pay the bill. Dropped my phone in the toilet, what a thrill. Got a flat tire on my way to work, This Tuesday's turning into a real berserk. Locked my keys in the car, had to call a tow. Ripped my favorite pants, now I look like a hobo. Accidentally deleted an important file, This Wednesday's making me want to just go into exile. Boss yelled at me for being late again. Stepped in gum, now it's stuck to my shoe, amen. Spilled my lunch all over my lap, what a mess, This Thursday's turning out to be a real distress. Overslept and missed my big presentation. Tripped on the stairs and caused a commotion. Forgot my wallet, phone, and keys, what a day, This Friday's making me want to just run away. Woke up with a terrible cold, can't stop sneezing. Dropped my ice cream cone, what a disappointing evening. Stubbed my toe really hard, limping in pain, This Saturday's making me want to just stay in and refrain. Spilled red wine all over my new white shirt. Locked myself out of the house, what a nightmare. Dropped my car keys down the sewer, what rotten luck, This Sunday's making me feel like I'm really stuck. What a week it's been, filled with nothing but strife, This guy's bad luck is the stuff of legend and life! But through it all, he's keeping his sense of humor, Because laughter's the best medicine, even when life's a real bummer.
