Life's a dealer

They’re playin’ life like a game, but I’ve seen the cost, When the dice roll hard, and all bets are lost. In the gamble of breaths, where the stakes are tossed, We find our depth, in the frost, embossed. Life's a dealer, sly and deft, with hands that have crossed, Dealing cards with a left, where the lines are glossed. But I stand, unbowed, though tempest-tossed, In the game of shadows, I am the ghost, uncrossed. The table's set, the players boast, Of wins and wealth, of which they host. Yet, in the silence, I hear the most, The quiet plea, the inner ghost. For what's won or lost, in this grand roast, Is more than coin, or an empty boast. It's the soul's journey, from coast to coast, In search of meaning, amongst the host. So let the dice fall, where they may post, I've learned the secret, to which I toast. That life's true game, isn't won by the boast, But by the love and the warmth, we host. In my dome, I roam, thoughts boom like thunder's pound, Solo in the echo, where my mind's unbound, profound. A thinker in the quiet, ideas in the air they playground, Internally I'm kinged, in my head, I wear the crown. Skull's a universe, thoughts storm, they never drown, Silent on the surface, but inside, I'm world-renowned. Alone, I find my peace, in solitude, my thoughts compound, In my mental library, wisdom's deep, it's where I'm sound. Lone wolf in the mind's expanse, where echoes resound, Spirit's voice the solo beat, in my soul, it's found. Reflection's realm, I'm free, my theories astound, In my being's silence, intellect's the battleground. Ideas ricochet, they clash, in my cranium's playground, An introvert's fortress, where insights are profound. Thoughts loud, crowdless, in my mind, they're homeward bound, In the quiet of my essence, my mind's tapestry is wound.
