Jesus the only one

In a manger lowly, the holy Light was born, Underneath the vast, shimmering sky of that first morn. With hands that would break bread and hearts alike, Jesus walked the earth, love’s purest dike. He turned water into wine, with a whisper, life’s brine, And with five loaves and two fish, fed souls, divine. Across waves he walked, to stormy hearts he talked, Offering peace where fear had balked. From thorny crown to wooden cross, He bore our sins, to redeem our loss. In the garden's quiet shadow, prayer heavy in the air, Jesus knelt, the weight of all our woes to bear. Betrayed by a kiss, led through the night so still, He climbed, steadfast, up Calvary’s rugged hill. Nails pierced the flesh that healed and fed, As skies darkened above his thorn-crowned head. "It is finished," He breathed, and surrendered His spirit, An act of love, profound, for all to inherit. In a tomb, He lay, but death could not confine, For on the third day rose the Savior divine.
